How are you coping up?

Months ago, the entire world was shocked by the news about COVID-19. Most people are not even aware what it is and some did not even take it seriously.

Looking back, it started as flu and then turned out to be the one thing that made the entire world experience the “new normal” that happened so fast.

Many people lost their jobs and a lot suffered. The increasing number of deaths is alarming as it feels like never-ending.

But how are you coping up as an individual?

Most of us are just getting by and going with the flow. But did you ever asked yourself how are doing? Emotionally and mentally how are you seeing the situation?

Self-assessment is necessary for this situation right now. Fear might set in and might be overpowering sometimes. The one thing that we need to keep in mind is we need to adapt.

The very fact that the situation is hard, we need to stay positive. We need to encourage ourselves to keep going. At some point, we need to choose what to take in and what not to.

I am not saying we should not pay attention, but we need to choose our battles. We need to be aware of what’s happening but we also need to live. COVID-19 kept us home, but we learned a lot about the value of togetherness.

Appreciating what you have right now and the time spent daily with family is an amazing thing. Don’t let COVID-19 dictate your life, you should but with care.

We should COVID-19 as an obstacle, we will all be able to get through it. With the right mindset and careful health considerations, we will be fine at some point.

Stay home, stay safe, and stay positive.
