From 1, 563 cases last week Friday, we are down at 1,400 COVID-19 cases as of today, October 30, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 129,024.

MoHAP announced the additional 2,189 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 124,647. Also, it has been announced that there are 3 deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 485.

The UAE government has been trying its very best to make a way for the people to be safe as much as possible like encouraging social distancing, wearing of face masks, and of course handwashing.

This COVID-19 battle is not just a battle that the leaders of the country should be facing, this global pandemic is a situation that the whole world should be concerned about.

A lot of people passed away and a lot of people lost their job and even their livelihood. For those who are still able to eat three times a day or more should feel very lucky as a lot of people are starving and some are sleeping through the night without anything to eat or drink.

This situation that the world is facing right now is one of the most unusual rare case of disease with a very high impact to society and economy. As citizens of the world, we need to be responsible in taking care of ourselves in a way that we are responsible in taking care of other people as well.
